Principal Presenter: Alex Cogley
Alex had been practicing yoga for over 25 years and teaching for 19 after completing a three-year teacher training program in 2001 with the founders of Yoga Synergy, Simon Borg-Olivier, and Bianca Machliss. Yoga Synergy is a dynamic style, with a strong emphasis on linking postures, fluid movement, breath work, and a foundation of physiotherapy.
I have been so fortunate to study with many great teachers over a number of years. I love the vinyasa flow style of yoga, yet I know the importance of working with injuries/conditions, what is suitable, and offering choices and challenges in a safe, supportive and fun environment. It’s not about the choreography but moving the body, mind, and breath in an intelligent way, leaving one feeling balanced and grounded.
