You will join yoga teachers from around the World who want to share and support other yoga teachers with their yoga journey. We are a team of like-minded people working together to promote and teach yoga in a professional and ethical manner.

  1. We are a Registered NON-PROFIT organisation. We’re not in it for the money, nobody earns a profit from IYTA. We’re not commercial, instead we follow ethical yogic principles.
  2. We are one of the few truly INTERNATIONAL Yoga Associations supporting yoga teachers around the world – represented in 20 countries – not just Australia, not just the USA, not just the United Kingdom.

  8. We live by, and expect members to follow, a strong code of yogic ethics.
  9. We exist solely to benefit you (the members).
  10. All are welcome to join whether an existing teacher, student or just interested in being a member of an ethical International Yoga Association.
  11. IYTA was one of the first registered Associations established (1967) to support Yoga teachers Internationally.
