Vinyasa Yoga Workshop for Yoga Teachers - the fundamentals & sequencing
CPD Points: 2.5
When: 1.30pm - 4.00pm, Saturday, 25 Jul 2020
Where: Crows Nest Community Centre, Sydney
Vinyasa Yoga flow is a hugely fun, popular and dynamic style of Yoga, linking movement with the breath. It allows the student and teacher to experiment with many different modern and traditional postures, with transitions that link these postures creating a thread that maintains a graceful led practice.
At the IYTA our teachers have a wealth of knowledge and in this workshop we’ll be using this knowledge to learn how to comfortably put together a Vinyasa Yoga flow.
In this workshop we will:
- Discuss and look at traditional flow sequences
- Work with common Vinyasa flow postures, transitions and look at how to develop these postures
- Build a flow sequence
- Walk away confident in putting together a flow sequence in isolation or as a complete class
This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in learning about Vinyasa Yoga for your own practice, or teaching Vinyasa Yoga in your classes.
